Our Mission, Vision and Values
Christ Alive Everywhere: From the Cross, to the Heart, to the Hands
To Go and make disciples empowered by the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Who We Are:
A family of missionary servants, sent as disicples to make disciples.
Our Core Values:
At Alive our number one priority is to create a Holy Spirit empowered disciplemaking culture. We do this by engaging God in these five ways:
- through prayer
- through knowing and obeying the word
- through giving all of our lives through stewardship
- through authentic community
- through telling our story anywhere, anytime, for anybody
What To Expect
The first thing you will notice when you visit Alive Again is the “come as you are” atmosphere. Most people dress casually and the environment is warm and friendly.
The morning is comprised of three main parts.
First we gather for worship through songs of praise. This part of our worship service is lead by guitars, keyboard, and singers and uses mostly contemporary praise and worship music. During this time you will see a variety of expressions of worship, you may hear people voicing their praise through scripture readings or spontenous prayer. An opportunity is sometimes given during this time for people to receive prayer for healing of their physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
After this part of our worship there is a message from the Bible delivered by Pastor Bill, Pastor Brian or one of the other leaders of the church. We believe the Bible is God’s holy and perfect love letter to us. At Alive Again you will hear messages right out of the Bible that make the meaning clear and enables you to see how God’s message applies to even the most simple things of our lives.
The service normally ends with an opportunity to respond in some way. Sometime it is a time of sharing communion around the Lord’s Table, sometimes it is an opportunity to pray for each other or to receive prayer.
After our worship service, there is a time of getting to know each other and sharing in each other’s lives with a cup of coffee and some delicious goodies. Several times a year we have a luncheon after our worship service which you are always welcome to attend.
Children & Youth
There are children’s ministry workers available to care for your infants during the entire worship service. Older children remain in the service for the musical worship time. After this portion of the service the children and students are dismissed to go to their own classes.
