The most important thing that I would like you to know about me is that I am married to the girl of my dreams, Christine, for over 35 years. I am also the proud Dad of 4 adult children and I am a recent “pappy”.
I have been a minister for over 30 years. My passion is church planting because I believe it is God’s strategy for building Christ’s Kingdom and for reaching people who have not yet experienced the life transforming power of the Gospel. That’s why I am planting Alive Again Alliance.
Throughout my ministry life I participated in the start up, in one way or another, of 5 different churches. Because I want to stay connected to people who need the Lord, I also serve as a Chaplain with the VNA of Central Jersey. I had the privilege of being a founding member of the Ocean County Long Term Recovery Group and Jersey Shore United, both organizations help to rebuild Ocean County after Hurricane Sandy. I also have the joy of being part of raising up young people to the ministry by serving on our district’s Licensing, Ordination and Consecration Committee. I love music, cooking, movies, the beach, snorkeling, nature walks and going to the City. Hope to get to know you soon!
The most important thing I want to say is, be sure to pay close attention to the quiet voice of Jesus in your life. Don’t be afraid to open the door when you hear him calling or knocking. Over 20 years ago a neighbor came knocking on my door inviting me to church. Because of that knock, I met my Savior – that quiet voice of love – and so can you.
I grew up and still reside in Jackson, NJ. I knew from a young age that I was called to pastor. I have been married to my beautiful wife, Serena, for over 10 years. We have three beautiful children, Aiden, Asher, and Roselyn. I have been in ministry for over 20 years, focusing first on youth ministry and now as the Executive Pastor at Alive Again Alliance. My passion is seeing the Word of God come to life in those around me. It is my desire to help fulfill the great commission and to walk out our church's vision: Christ Alive Everywhere, from the Cross to the Hearts to the Hands. Come be a part of Alive Again Alliance and join a family of missionary servants.
Associate Pastor / Pastora
Shirley and I are originally from North Jersey and we have been in the Toms River area for 25 years. We love the beach and we are big moviegoers. As a blended family with five teenagers, there is never a dull moment in our home.
As we walked in God’s grace together, we knew there was something more.
We have a passion to let the world know God is a God of second chances.
Through our journey we want to inspire others to believe God can work in their lives and that no one is ever too far from His grace.
Pastor of Prayer / Director of Counseling
First and foremost, my wife Emily and I would like to share that over the years as believers we have experienced firsthand Gods love, mercy, blessings and hardships which have all come together to create “our story” and to which we are most thankful and grateful for God's unexplainable restoration and grace. We reside in Toms River, NJ and have been married since 2005. Throughout our marriage, we have kept Christ the center of our relationship and the Lord has blessed us with 4 incredible children; Lucas, Sophia, Drew and Benjamin. We have served the body of Christ for over 18 years, either within children and youth ministries to ushering and outreach teams. This brings me to being the Pastor of Prayer and Director of Restoration and Redemptive Counseling. Emily is part of the outreach and education team and is vital to the Church body as a woman of God and as a Proverbs 31 wife.
I received my Pastoral License from the Christian & Missionary Alliance (C&MA) in 2019. I earned my Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in 2008. I am a clinically trained counselor who believes that Jesus Christ is the only way to true freedom (John 14:6). Emily works as a special education teacher for the Toms River Regional School District.
Together we desire to serve the Lord with all our hearts, minds, bodies, souls, and strength. We hold dear to the values and morals of what scripture teaches (Mark 12:30-31).
